oh dear oh dear, how can this be so misunderstood?
It is not about being declined, it is for the reasons.
It is not a  chivvy, I don´t mentioned names or groups, I just wanted others to think.
Yes there are great groups out there and some groups have real standards and rules of Quality and follow them.
I like groups which have their rules and you can trust them and you get real feedback and help to improve. Those groups are a challenge, because they give you a real point to work with.
Is it so hard to see the difference I mean between those groups and the others, which search "blind" for the "highest Quality" and you don´t get the point?
I don´t know how I could make myself any clearer

Hello there,

today I want you all to read and help.
I guess everyone knows it, you have an image, you believe in your art and some High Quality Group told you it isn´t worth to be part of the Group Gallery.
To be declined or rejected isn´t the problem. Sure there are rules you have to follow:
Photography the capture, the focus, the lightning, the Quality
Drawings the theme, the Quality
and so on

The problem are the reasons sometimes, more and more Groups only accept "perfection" or what is perfection in THEIR eyes.

"Perfection isn´t natural or real" AND it is only subjective, everyone thinks different.

Models with skin so clean and smoothen, you don´t need to be an expert to know the beauty is given by Photoshop or gimp.
But only this kind of model seems to be accepted.

Pictures with perfect lines, lightning and so soulless that it doesn´t give you any emotion.

My fear is, that dA Groups gonna lose the heart of Art, the Soul by trying to collect only magazine "perfection"
Do you really want only groups on dA that gives you feeling only professionals could create Art?

I will feature every group, which support me.
And I want YOU all to write under your art which group you declined and why.
So everyone could see if a group gives real argument and which group only hunger for perfection.
copie this and post it in your journal.

I think it depends on your own style, but I never liked over Photoshopped skin. I edit my pictures, but making my models look like dolls is something I never thought of as appealing. I might cover up a blemish or two, but most of the time that's it.
I've had photo's rejected because they weren't airbrushed enough. One said one of my things were declined because of to many "fly away hairs." I was very upset.
